Howdy, this is a fellow survivor inviting any and all players to a new frontier! This is a flip on the vanilla 7days formula but with some mod enhancements to speed up progress, intended to create a more open-ended progression for all players! With the addition of more vehicles, zombies, ways to earn skill points, and many more POI on a fresh 8K map, this is a challenge designed for any 7days vanilla veterans as well as cooperative groups!
Join the Preppocalypse and you will experience surprising and dangerous new things! Start hording your supplies and prepare for the ultimate horde nights! We have everything you need to build the ultimate survival base in record time without otherwise disrupting the "vanilla" progression style.
Here are some of the fun features of our server and the modpack:
- Starter kit includes Pistol, Bicycle, and Knife!
- Lockable inventory slots to prevent automatic sorting
- Increased Forge input slots to 3 for efficiency
- Infinitely repeating questline for hunting zombies will give you constant Exp. and Skill Points!
- Learn the Prepper Strengths perk to earn Exp. even faster to accelerate toward later game stages! (extremely high risk and high reward during early game)
- Invest your extra Skill Points to Prestige your abilities even further!
- New food recipes, chat based fishing, raising bee hives and chicken coops
- Lots more zombies spawning in the world and in wandering hordes
- New dangerous zombies carrying weapons! If they shoot you it's gonna hurt!
- Traders open from 04:05 to 21:50
- Party Exp. Share Range is set to Max so you always share!
- For every zombie killed players earn in-game points that can be redeemed for item packages, teleporting on the map, or free Dukes!
- Save a Teleport point on the map for easy travel or in case of emergency! By defaults players may assign two Teleport points and respected VIP players may use up to eight Teleport points
- We encourage players to invest time into building large bases and safehouses in the vastness of the map! We will add safehouses to become dedicated Teleport locations for all players to run to for the horde night
How to get started: If you used a previous copy of this modpack, delete it!
1. Download the modpack, unzip the modpack.
2. Locate the "A21-Preppocalypse-7deezmodpack" unzipped folder. Enter this folder and you will find all the mods.
3. Open Steam, right click on 7days, under the Manage option choose Browse Local Files. Locate the Mods folder or create it now! You can use the unzipped folder that contains the whole modpack by copying (or drag and drop) all the mod folders to your 7days install location into the Mods folder.
4. If you followed so far, you can connect to this server! Launch the game with EAC disabled!
