SURVIVUM takes place on the DEERISLE map, which has been divided into 5 areas of rewards and increasing difficulty. In addition to toxic areas, chests, and server-specific dog territories, the map is full of many secrets as it offers its own random quests and events, as well as several new biomes (seaside resorts, snowy heights, foggy swamps…) as dangerous as they are dazzling to navigate. Certain regions of DEERISLE also have networks of caverns and underground facilities, leaving plenty of room for adventure or the establishment of refuges for survivors.
THE ZEDS are very numerous and unless you are heavily equipped or have a silent accessory, you will have to keep a low profile and use your brain: distract them by throwing objects or take advantage of their stupidity to group them and lock them up in a large shed. You run faster than them, and are at least as smart as them (right?) Enjoy!
BASES can be easily built in wood or metal, then furnished and decorated on the theme of survival and hunting thanks to lootable and craftable elements. Vanilla raid rules apply for wooden constructions (using standard tools), but attackers will need explosives to force metal. Your best defense is stealth!
